High Rock Tournament June 22, 2003

On Sunday, the weather was still hot, but the lake was dropping.  1st place and big fish went to Jerry Everly of Hope Mills  with a total of 13 lbs. 8 oz., his bag was anchored by a 5 lb Largemouth Bass, Jerry used a Jig to catch his fish.  2nd place went to Steve Campbell of Spout Springs with 7 lbs. 2 oz. he used a Texas Rig to catch his fish.  3rd place went to Nathan Blanton of Fayetteville with 5 lbs 9 oz., using a Carolina Rig and Spinnerbait.  4th place went to Tom Kuchen of Fayetteville with 5 lbs. 1 oz., using a Senko.  5th place went to Roger Baylous of Sanford with 4 lbs.  8 oz., using a Texas Rig.  Honorable Mention went to Hal Abshire of
Johnsonville with 3 lbs. 15 oz., he also used a Texas Rig.

The youth division winner for Sunday was Garett Rhodes with 2 fish that weighed 10 lbs. 3 oz, he also had Big Fish with a giant that weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz. using a Texas Rigged Worm.  2nd place went to Breanna Everly of Hope Mills with 6 lbs. 1 oz., she used a spinnerbait.  3rd place went Westley Riddle of Southern Pines with 2 lbs. 8 oz., and he used a spinnerbait. Honorable Mention went to Britt Kuchen of Fayetteville with 2 lbs. 5 oz.; he used Senko to lure his fish in. On this day the Youth showed the rest of the club how to catch some big fish.
