Carolina Bassers
Lake Norman Tournament October 23, 2005

Tourney Rundown

Anglers were greeted with chilly temperatures, but no fog on Sunday.  The buzz among anglers before blast off was that the bite would be tougher with the sunny and cold post frontal conditions.  This proved to be the case to some extent with overall lower weights and one fewer limit being weighed.  Anglers still managed to weigh fish, proving that this fishery appears to have a healthy population of largemouth and its spotted cousin.  Shawn “Back Seater” Dalrymple brought the largest limit of the day weighing 8.27 lbs, making a strong final push towards the top 12.  John Barrett came in a close second weighing 7.87 lbs almost assuredly securing a top 12 final standings position.
