Tourney Rundown
The Carolina Bassers fished their 8th tourney of the season at the Chowan River.  Wow what an awesome looking place.  But, as it turned out it wasn’t what we all hoped for.  It showed in the weights coming in.  Day 1 was unbelievable, if you were lucky enough to catch 2 keepers you actually had a good chance of placing.  First place went to Mike Bentley with 4.79lbs. and had the tourney’s Big Bass weighing 2.29 lbs.  A close second was Ricky Mozingo with 4.48lbs. Third went to Mike Nadeau with 3.65lbs.  Fourth went to Terry Teer with 3.58lbs.  Fifth went to Scott Assmann with 3.25lbs.  All most everyone caught their fish on frogs, Pop’r, or floating worms.  Some fish went for a Shakey Head.

Brandon Parker took first with 2.93lbs.  Brandon also brought in the tourney’s Youth Big Bass weighing 1.65lbs. Second place was Nick Bell with 1.60lbs.  Third was taken by Tyler Teer with 1.53lbs.  Good job to all youth members.
