Tourney Rundown
The Carolina Bassers fished their 9th tourney of the season at the Chowan River.  Day 2 of an extremely hard tournament.  Day 1 was unbelievable, if you were lucky enough to catch 2 keepers you actually had a good chance of placing.  Day 2 turned out to be a little better than Day 1.  First place went to Will Blanton with 8.10lbs. and had the tourney’s Big Bass weighing 4.49 lbs.  Both of his bass were caught on a buzzbait.  Second was dad David Blanton with 5.49lbs. on floating worm and a frog.  Third went to Jerry Everly with 4.67lbs. on a frog.  Fourth went to Todd Parker with 3.38lbs. on a Senko. And fifth went to Howard Crisp with 3.09lbs. on a buzzbait and Senko.

Brandon Parker took first again with 2.39lbs.  Brandon also brought in the tourney’s Youth Big Bass weighing 2.39 lbs.  Second place again was Nick Bell with 1.82lbs.  Third was taken by Hunter Johnson with 1.58lbs. Good job to all youth members.
