Tourney Rundown

The Carolina Bassers fished their 7th tourney of the season at Mayo Lake.  With 29 participants (adult 29, youth 7), 31 weighed in fish and 1 with a five fish limit.  On his last TX this year with us Bob Cunningham takes first place with 7.45 using a pop’ r. A very, very close second was Gerald Rhodes with 7.43 using a Carolina rig. Third went to a new guy in the club. Mickey McQuain pulled in 6.82 with only 2 bass. And had the tourney’s Big Bass weighing 5.41 lbs on a brush hog. Fourth went to Roger Baylous with 5.80 using a Carolina rig. Fifth went to Clay Nepstad with 5.15 using a Buzzbait.

Another new Carolina Basser placed. Tim McMillan took first with 6.72 using a Shaky head. Second place was Nick Bell with 5.66 on Carolina rig and top water. Nick also brought in the tourney’s Youth Big Bass weighing 3.90 lbs. Third was taken by Tyler Teer with 4.74 on a Texas rig. Fourth was taken by Hunter Johnston with 3.19. Good job to all youth members.
