Falls Lake Tournament-Thursday 9:30

Hey guys....

I’ve been out at Falls for about 40 minutes and while the water is still higher than desired, I believe we can still fish Saturday. The challenge is loading & unloading. The two “outside” ramps are roped off due to potential drop offs on each side. Center two ramps are open and about 9 boats are in the lot.

There will need to be efforts to assist each other. Additionally, beaching your boat is going to be selective. As you are facing the ramps from the parking lot, there is a cove around to the left that has access for boats on the bank and a short hike back up to the parking lot.

Blast off Sat will not be hurried to allow for decent visibility . There is some small trash floating but I didn’t see the logs I saw last week. That Doesn’t mean to zip around, logs can be water logged and somewhat submerge.

Forecast is for additional rain Friday afternoon / evening so hopefully this doesn’t screw us up. Water levels are falling but really slow, at the current fall rate, expectations are for about another 6 to 8” drop by Friday night...

Its been over 4 months since our last event so I know we want to get at it! I’m sure my decision will upset someone and if that’s the case, my apologies!

Should Any new issues develop I will relay ASAP!
